Our standard
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the widely used standard for accessible websites, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). It covers how a site works for people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, people who use a keyboard or other assistive technology instead of a mouse, and people with cognitive or motion sensitivities. It is the standard we hold every page on bidli.ai to.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone. Each one starts with a "Skip to content" link, and a clear outline shows where you are as you move through it.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks, and labels, so screen readers can move through them and name every link and button.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG AA color contrast ratios.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Moving content can be paused or stepped through, and it holds still when your device is set to reduce motion. The drawn "How it works" story has a full text version for screen readers, and its steps are also written out on the page.
- Pages reflow to a single column on small screens and at up to 400% zoom, with no sideways scrolling, and buttons and links are large enough to tap.
- The site sets the page language and gives every page a clear title.
- Accessibility is built into the site's own code. We do not rely on an accessibility overlay or plugin.
- We test every page with automated accessibility checks and by hand: with a keyboard alone, at phone widths, zoomed in, and with reduced motion turned on.
Report a barrier
If anything on bidli.ai is hard for you to see, hear, read, or use, tell us. Email info@bidli.ai with "Accessibility" in the subject line, and include the page and what got in your way. We answer every report and fix what you found.
Get any information another way
Everything on this site is also available directly from us. Email info@bidli.ai and we will send you the information in a format that works for you, such as plain text by email or a phone call at a number you give us. We can also book your call with you by email or by phone, so you never need the booking pages to reach us.
Booking pages
Booking a call happens on our booking pages. If anything there gets in your way, email info@bidli.ai and we will set up your call with you directly.
Keeping it that way
Accessibility is part of how we build every new page and every change to this site, and we check each one against WCAG 2.2 Level AA before it goes live.
